About Event

The technical event consists of two major components:

  • Root Access Challenge Technical Quiz
  • Capture The Flag (CTF) competition

The Technical Quiz serves as the initial assessment round, followed by three progressive CTF rounds where participants solve cybersecurity-based challenges.

Objectives

  • Assess technical knowledge & logical thinking.
  • Improve practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Encourage teamwork, analysis, & application.
  • Hands-on experience in real-world problems.
Format

Event Structure

Game 1: Technical Quiz

A single round designed to test participants' knowledge of various technical domains.

Total Points: 100

Game 2: Capture The Flag

Three progressive rounds featuring time-based scoring across varying difficulty levels. Compete for a total of 900 points.

Event Rules

    AI tools and AI automations are strictly prohibited.

  • 02

    Participants may use normal search engines and publicly available documentation.

  • 03

    Sharing flags, solutions, write-ups, payloads, or challenge-specific information with another team is prohibited.

  • 04

    Do not scan or attack systems outside the CTF infrastructure.

  • 05

    Participants may use standard cyber security and development tools unless specifically prohibited (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap).

  • 06

    The organizers reserve the right to monitor competition infrastructure for security and fairness.

  • 07

    Tie-Breaking: organizers may conduct a tie-breaker challenge.

  • 08

    Adhering to the standards ensures your place in the final round.
